After the course you know the main research and application areas of biomedical engineering. You understands the biophysical theories, basic data processing, analysis and modeling methods related to the human anatomy and physiological function and know how these methods are applied to develop medical devices and biomaterials. The objective is that all students in biomedical engineering learn the basics in biomaterials.
