After the course you can describe controlled drug release mechanisms and list main clinical applications of multifunctional implants. You will know their manufacturing and testing methods and their role and function in tissue reactions, healing and repairing. You can also describe how tissue reactions can be controlled by drug releasing implant. You will learn the basis of pharmacology and you can name the main requirements of drug from implant processing point of view.
