Objectives

After completing the course you know the central physiological control systems of the body, how their functioning is described with different physical quantities and how these quantities can be measured. You also have a good command in physiological recording and instrumentation. In the exercise work you have went in more deeply into one recording application.

1. Physiological measurement systems, methods and instrumentations: sensors, signal conditioning, signal analysis.     
2. Measurements of essential physiological systems: cardiovascular system, neural system, respiratory and muscular system. Cellular level measurements.
