Student knows the basics of the mechanical behaviour of laminated plates and shells. More over student is able to analyse composite structures.

1. | Analysis and optimization of laminated fiber-reinforced composites. The basic constitutive equations of ortotropic material. Fundamentals of macro and micromechanical theory of ply. Tension, compression and bending problems of laminated structures. |
