Requirements

Approved research paper and exam. A research paper will be written in groups of two students, and an oral presentation is given at the course seminar. The paper will be personally commented on by the lecturer. Evaluation for the grade will be based 65% on exam and 35% on research paper an paper presentation.
Completion parts must belong to the same implementation

Objectives

The student will be aware of and understand the construction and interactive properties of intelligent textile materials and their applications.

Content

1. Phase change materials, shape memory materials, photochromic materials, conductive materials and state change materials with special focus on textiles. Smart garment and wearable technology applications.     


Evaluation criteria for the course
