Teach students to go beyond text books and to study scientific literature in molecular biology and biotechnology with special emphasis on eukaryotes.

1. | Students will study literature in trends in eukaryotic biotechnology and present what they have learned from molecular evolution techniques and applications of nucleic acids, modification of proteins and their applications in measurements and related studies. The first part consists on 16 hours of so-called journal club presentations and the latter part is discussions and presentations on modern molecular technologies to study protein structure and function and applications thereof. |
