Completing the course you understand special charactersitics related to physiological measurements. You can define the essential information from physiological signals and you can consider signals accuracy and reliability. In addition, you can evaluate a significance of the interferences in the bioelectrical measurements.
Content | Core content | Complementary knowledge | Specialist knowledge |
1. | Measurement of electrical activation of the heart from the body surface and learning of measurement system and interferences.
2. | Determination of the nerve impulse velocity by electrical stimulus and muscle response.
3. | Measurement of electrical activation of the brain from the skull. Evoked potential measurement and filtering of signal.
4. | Measurement and determination of respiratory volumes. |
Each laboratory is assessed with 0-2 points. Received points will be taking into account in examination.
Evaluation scale passed/failed will be used on the course
