ELE-6106 Basic RF measurements, 4 cr |
Tiiti Kellomäki, Jouko Heikkinen
Lecture times and places | Target group recommended to | |
Implementation 1 |
Periods 1 1 - 2 |
Written exam and measurement exam. In the measurement exam the student shows she knows how to do the measurements learned during the course. Compulsory laboratory exercises (spectrum and network analysers, antenna measurements).
Completion parts must belong to the same implementation
Learn the basic measurements used in designing and testing RF equipment. After the course the student is able to measure using spectrum and network analysers, interpret the results, and estimate errors in the measurement.

There is no equivalence with any other courses
Sister course of ELE-6100. Identical exams. ELE-6100 is lectured in Finnish, but demos (two lectures) are given in English on request. Possibly includes an excursion to a major RF company. Find your lab partner among the Finnish students taking ELE-6100. Enrol to ELE-6100 as well as ELE-6106 in POP to get all the information.
