Learning outcomes

Understanding dynamic behavior of mechanical systems and structures. Calculation methods for dynamic loads and vibration isolation and damping.

Content

1. Basics of vibration mechanics. Lagrange equations.   Computing of natural frequencies and modes. Natural frequencies of rods and beams. Semidefinite systems.    
2. Vibrators with one and two degrees of freedom. Discrete vibration system wiht many degrees of freedom.  Frequency response function.   


Evaluation criteria for the course

Accepted calculation and laboratory exercises and subsequent written examination.

Assessment scale:

Numerical evaluation scale (1-5) will be used on the course
