1. Surface characteristics of fibres and textiles and interactions with water, other liquids, and gases. Surface active compounds and their properties in water, washing theories and techniques. Common surface active compounds as textile auxiliaries and testing of the activity. Colloids and macromolecules and their behaviour. Modification of fibre surfaces by radiation of laser beam, electron, cold plasma, and chemical crafting and their influence on fibre properties.
