Learning outcomes

To familiarize the student with natural and geosynthetic materials used in ground water protection structures and landfill structures, and the principles of their design.

Content

2. Effect of permeability on pollutant transportation in the ground and its modelling.      
3. Ground water protection structures.      
4. Design, structures and construction of landfills.      


Evaluation criteria for the course

Exam 75% and design assessments 25%.

Assessment scale:

Numerical evaluation scale (1-5) will be used on the course
