Learning outcomes

The course will introduce students to the special characteristics of electronic commerce and electronic business.

1. Students will understand the role of ICT in modern business environment.  Students will gain insight into the architecture of electronic business and formulation of e-strategies.   Students will gain insight into how e-architecture and e-strategies influence the business environment as a whole. 
2. Students will understand the importance and role of information in the Internet environment, as well as its strengths and weaknesses as business environment.  Students will gain insight into the most common ways of information capture from the Internet.  Students will gain insight into how information from the Internet may be utilized in a business setting. 
3. Students will learn about the most common ways of marketing in the Internet.  Students will gain insight into Internet consumer behavior theories, and utilize them in online marketing.  Students will gain insight into most common ways of utilizing web analytics and measuring web site performance.
