This is a first basic course with broad coverage of analog circuits. Selective attention is given to their consecutive use in Wireless Communications. Lectures deliver the basic principles and illustrate them with examples. Auditorium exercises apply the theory to the main cases of practical importance, using analysis by hand and utilizing PSpice, a simulation tool of major importance. Laboratory exercises are optional and intended for students who would like to continue their studies in this or related fields. There the students are trained on an exciting practical implementation of a single-transistor oscillator for wireless applications and receive one (1) more credit point after successful completion.
