Learning outcomes

- Students will achieve good knowledge of scientific and professional concepts of the major subject, and basic knowledge of the minor subject(s), as well as professional expertise in the discipline. They will have skills to apply the scientific methods to topical and concrete problems and be able to participate the societal debate in the discipline.
- The students will attain eligibility for doctoral studies in the field of Materials Science.

Additional information

Completion and reporting of a large independent scientific assignment. Student gains ability to understand the scientific and professional concepts of the major.In connection with the thesis, the student has to write a maturity test, which is an essay on a topic related to the thesis.
