To have gained knowledge and an understanding of the three major roots of African architecture: indigenous, Islamic and Western. To have gained knowledge and an understanding of the foundations of African philosophy and its concepts of space and time.To enable to identify and explain why there are various forms of African architecture.To enable to identify and classify the origins and types of African cities.
