Requirements
Active participation in the lectures and presentation discussions and a satisfactory project and/or theoretically focused research paper on a planning topic.
Completion parts must belong to the same implementation
Principles and baselines related to teaching and learning
The course is divided in theoretical (lectures, literature, discussions) part and design part (project task). The project is done in groups. Discussion and peer evaluation is encouraged.
Learning outcomes
On finishing the course the student is able to describe urban planning processes from general conceptualization to detailed construction guidance. He/she is able to recognize current trends in the design of urban space and knows how to create various functional and environmental development plans and visions. He/she knows how to use and how to produce planning accounts, as well as apply interactive design practices.
