Learning outcomes
After passing the course the student will understand techniques and applications of modern bioanalysis used in molecular, microbial and environmental studies. He/she will learn theory and operation of modern bio-analytical instruments (HPLC, FPLC, GC, multiwellplate readers with photo and fluorimetry, electrophoresis, biomarker and labelling techniques).

Evaluation criteria for the course
The grade will be determined on the basis of an exam. To pass the course with a grade 1 the student will have to score at least 50 % of the maximum points in the exam. A good understanding the core content will suffice to a grade 3. In order to earn a grade 4 or 5 the student will have to have a good or excellent understanding of complementary knowledge.
