Learning outcomes
After passing the course the student can name the unit operations used in water and waste water treatment and explain their operational principles. The student can choose the needed operations based on the water characteristics. The student can plan, size, use and develop the unit operations covered.

Evaluation criteria for the course
The grade consists of the final exam (100%) or two midterm exams (à 50%). Grade 1 = Satisfactory knowledge of the learning outcomes Grade 2 = Very satisfactory knowledge of the learning outcomes Grade 3 = Satisfactory application of the course core content Grade 4 = Knowledge of course complementary knowledge and good application of course core content Grade 5 = Good application of core and complementary knowledge of the course
