Learning outcomes

The student will familiarize himself with basic mechanisms, mechanical components, actuators and sensors used in mechatronic systems and also with controllers of mechatronic systems.

Content

KSU-3316 2010-01 Mechatronics is introduced as an integration of microprocessor control system, electrical systems and mechanical systems. The course provides a fundamental background to mechatronics and links through to more specialized skills. Students will learn the basic components of mechatronics devices, actuations, signal conditioning and microprocessor system.
