Additional information of course implementation:
Lectures are held in Finnish, but the course is based on an English text book. In the exercises you can solve the problems and ask help from the assistant teacher both in English and Finnish. Quizzes (10-15 min) are held at the exercise sessions (random time, so you have to be there from the beginning) and by answering right you might get some bonus points to the exam. No registration is required for the exercise sessions. If there are too many people in the exercise, choose another group. Exercise times and places: Tue 12.15-14 SJ210 Wed 14.15-16 SJ210 Thu 10.15-12 SJ204 Fri 10.15-12 SJ210 Exercises will begin during the second week of the course. The problems and quizzes will be related to the previous weeks' lecture material. Lectures and exercises and quizzes are NOT mandatory. Only the final exam is.
