Requirements
Approved research paper, case exercise and approved exam. Each student is expected to write a research paper and give an oral presentation at the course seminar. The paper will be personally commented on by the lecturer. A practical sourcing case exercise will be carried out individually by each student. Cases are e-mailed to the lecturer, who will comment on them and approve them. Evaluation for the grade will be based 60% on exam, 30% on research paper and 10% on case exercise.
Completion parts must belong to the same implementation
Learning outcomes
Once the course has been successfully completed, the student will be able to: Define various drivers for globalization. Classify various sourcing strategies and purchasing methods. Recognize critical success factors in consumer goods supply chain. Apply various success measures for analyzing global value chains. Specify how global value chains can improve their financial performance. Name the main public sector organizations and their roles in global value chains.

Evaluation criteria for the course
