Description:
The seminar is intended to students who are studying in the international master's degree programme in information technology or RF electronics and who are planning to start their master's thesis project soon. The seminar is compulsory to the students started in the international master's degree programme since 2008. Exchange students who have been accepted to prepare their theses in the Faculty of Computing and Electrical Engineering are recommended to take this thesis seminar. The seminar will be given twice a year. It includes three compulsory lectures of two hours each.

Additional information of course implementation:
In addition to the lectures, it is recommended that the students follow at least a few seminar presentations given by the students who are currently in the process of preparing their master's theses in the Faculty of Computing and Electrical Engineering. The titles of the presentations are updated weekly to the seminar programme (see the link 3). Presentations from the areas of communications engineering, digital and computer systems and signal processing are given on Fridays at 9-11 in TB219. Presentations in software systems are given on Fridays at 9-11 in TB109.
