Learning outcomes

After completing the course students can explain the planning process stages of a medical device from an idea to a final product including regulatory aspects and risk analysis. Students have executed a literature review with their group which includes patent and market surveys and survey requirements for the application and the biomedical device. Students have used scientific articles and different databases for the information retrieval. As a part of a group students have planned a schedule, budget, and the workflow for the project and presented it as written documents and as an oral presentation in seminars.
