Learning outcomes
After completing the course students can explain the special characteristics related to physiological measurements. They can define the essential information from physiological signals. Students are able to analyse the measurements and signals through their accuracy and reliability. In addition, students can evaluate a significance of the interferences in the bioelectrical measurements.
Content
Content | Core content | Complementary knowledge | Specialist knowledge |
1. | Measurement of electrical activation of the heart from the body surface and learning of measurement system and interferences.
2. | Measurement and determination of the viscoelastic properties of bone.
3. | Measurement of electrical activation of the brain from the skull. Evoked potential measurement and filtering of signal.
4. | Measurement and determination of respiratory parameters. |
