Active participation in lectures (75 % attendance), assignments and successful performance in the final examination.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students will be able to understand longer stretches of spoken Finnish on familiar topics, take the initiative in everyday communication situations, and will gain a firm command of the vocabulary needed for daily interaction. Students will be able to write simple, coherent texts and will become familiar with essential grammatical structures of Finnish. CEF: A2

4. | Writing: combining old and new knowledge, writing coherent texts. | ||
5. | Grammar: the perfect tense, the pluperfect tense and the use of tenses, the passive voice, the partitive plural and the object. Comparing adjectives. |
