Requirements
Participation at least in four of the six seminars (necessary extra non-attendance must be agreed with Kari Kannus via e-mail). Approved literature review and research scheme.
Learning outcomes
Course provides the basic understanding of post-graduate studies and scientific and applied research. After the course post-graduate students know the progress of the dissertation work and they are able to find a research problem, make a relevant research scheme and a literature review, set goals for the research and evaluate the reliability of the research. They will also have the basic knowledge on research methodology and research ethics.
