(Complementary knowledge: Differenct kinds of cuncurrence: virtual and real concurrency, distribution. ), Critical section, mutual exclusion, idea of semaphores. (Complementary knowledge: Monitors, other tools for concurrency (rendes-vous, message passing) ), Deadlocking, starvation. The conditions of deadlocking and avoidance of deadlock. (Complementary knowledge: Priority inversion problem.)
