Requirements
Attending all the seminar lectures is a compulsory requirement to pass the course. In addition, it is recommended to follow at least a few thesis seminar presentations of other students in the course TST-1406. International MSc degree students of the Faculty of CEE are the prime target of this course.
Completion parts must belong to the same implementation
Learning outcomes
After the seminar the student can take care of the searching process of master's thesis project , the selection of the topic, the determination of the scope of the work, communication with the supervisors, the writing of the thesis and the related administrative procedures. The student remembers many proven good practices relating to the writing process.

Evaluation criteria for the course
Attendance in the seminars is recorded and a 100% attendance in the lectures is required to pass the course.

The course should be taken at a time when the student is planning to start a thesis project. In this stage, most of the courses for the major subject must have been completed or be under study.

The seminar is intended to students who are studying in the international master's degree programme in Information Technology or RF-Electronics and who are planning to start their master's thesis project soon. Exchange students who have been accepted to prepare their theses in the Faculty of Computing and Electrical Engineering are recommended to take this thesis seminar. The seminar will be given once a year. It includes three compulsory lectures of two hours each. In addition to the lectures, it is recommended that the students follow at least a few thesis seminar presentations given by the students who are currently in the process of preparing their master's theses in the Faculty of Computing and Electrical Engineering. The titles of the presentations are updated weekly to the seminar programme (see the link 3). The presentations are given on Fridays at 9-11. |
