Principles and baselines related to teaching and learning
The objective of the course is to get acquainted with transport systems planning by analysing the transport system of a case city. The course will also practice scientific writing as well as discussion and argumentation skills.
Learning outcomes
After passing this course, the student can analyse the transport systems and policy in case cities or regions. The student knows the principles of transport systems planning. The student can report and present the results of a scientific work.

Evaluation criteria for the course
The course grade is given based on the overall work considering the case city analysis (written report, presentation of the work). Good knowledge in transport system planning and especially in the case city gives the grade 3. Grades 4 and 5 are possible if the knowledge as well as reporting and presentation are excellent.
