When a course is over-subscribed, i.e. there are more sign-ups than places on the course, then we enrol the required number of students according to the following criteria: 1) TUT students for whom the course is compulsory 2) students' position at TUT (degree students have priority) 3) the number of 'study points' the students have 4) the time of the sign-up.
Students have to be present on the first day of the course to be sure of retaining their place.

Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students will learn the basics of Finnish. They will be able to introduce themselves using short and simple-structured Finnish expressions. Students will also be able to understand and use vocabulary for family, foods and drinks.
