Learning outcomes
After finishing the course, the student understands the theory of elasticity and dynamic properties. The student understands the basic design principles of elastomeric products and is able to apply these guidelines to practice. The student can also identify the most common test methods of elastomeric materials and knows their suitability to gain certain material property data. The student is able to name the various components of a tyre and can give examples of their purposes in a tyre structure. In addition, the student is able to explain the main phases of tyre manufacturing process.
