Requirements
Approved exercises and exam. A practical case assignment regarding planning of a garment factory is carried out by a team of 2 students.A second exercise on clothing physiology will be carried out during the course. Evaluation for the grade will be based 70% on exam and 30% on case assignments.
Completion parts must belong to the same implementation
Learning outcomes
Once the course has been successfully completed, the student will be able to: Define different kinds of machinery and methods for garment production. Apply factory planning techniques for designing garment factories. Recognize the connection between textile materials, human thermo-physiology and thermal balance. Understand test methods for thermoregulation, fabric and hand clothing comfort properties.
