Learning outcomes

After the course student understands the development of software industry and its current status. Student is able to critically analyse and develop software business models and to build a business plan for a software start-up company. Student understands the role of business and technology in the management of a software company.

Content

Evaluation criteria for the course

Students are evaluated through a business plan exercise that is made as a group work and a final examination. In order to get grade 3 from the course, the core content of the course needs to be understood well by the student.

Assessment scale:

Numerical evaluation scale (1-5) will be used on the course

Partial passing:

Completion parts must belong to the same implementation
