Additional information

Medical physics describes applications of physics to the medical diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The core of medical physics is the understanding of the effect of different fields on human tissue. The main areas of interest are clinical imaging methods and the treatment of cancer by ionizing radiation. The Minor subjects that support the medical physics Major include Physics, Signal Processing, Nanotechnology, and Mathematics. Biomedical Engineering is not allowed as a minor subject for this major.
