Student can freely select the courses according to one's interest as long as minimum of the degree (120 cr.) is done. In optional studies the student can also include courses which cannot be included in any other degree module or prerequisite studies.
Master's Thesis (30 cr)
Learning outcomes
- | To carry out and document independently a study using scientific methods. |
- | To gather systematically knowledge related to the chosen field of specialty, combine different sets of data and analyze information. |
- | To demonstrate professional skills in the field of the student's major subject. |
- | To demonstrate maturity required for a university degree. |
Additional information
Completion and reporting of an independent scientific assignment. Student gains ability to understand scientific and professional concepts of the major. With the thesis the student demonstrates that he/she knows how to analyze big entities, uses relevant literature, gathers appropriate empirical data, writes research report and deduces relevant conclusions. In connection with the thesis, student has to write a maturity test, which is an essay written on a topic related to the thesis. The test demonstrates the student's command of the thesis topic.
Additional information related to the degree
Student can include TST-1206 Demola Project Work only once in his/her degree.
