The workshop is about the glass sails of “Fondation Louis Vuitton pour la Création”, set in the “Jardin d’Acclimatation” in Paris designed by Frank Gehry. The project is under completion. The workshop will present the work of the different actors of the construction of the 12 sails for a total surface of 13500 m2 of curved glass, 3 527 different panels. Each presenter, (architect, engineer, fabricator, contractors) will describe the implication of their team at the different stage of the design and construction and what question and solution this project has raised to its own practice and work with Glass. Opiskelijat otetaan opintojaksolle ilmoittautumisjärjestyksessä, osanottajien määrä on rajoitettu. Opintojaksolle hyväksytyille ilmoitetaan 7.6.2013. Laajuus: 2 op
