Additional information
The student has to agree the seminar topic with the teacher (Tuhkanen, Rintala) by end of September, 2012. The seminar topic must be based on earlier studies, and thus the review report and the related oral presentation must show a deeper knowledge in the topic concerned. As information sources the references cannot mainly be general study materials or general information taken e.g. from marketing websites. Main part of information sources must represent scientific writings.

Requirements
Participation in seminars (at least 80% presence), approved written and oral presentation and acting as an opponent in oral student presentations.
Completion parts must belong to the same implementation
Learning outcomes
The student has gained advanced knowledge in environmental engineering and management, including water engineering and management, and has a basic understanding of the structure and the content of scientific publications, in writing a literature review and oral presentation skills in English.

The seminar topic must be based on student`s earlier studies, and thus the review report and the related oral presentation in the topic concerned must target a deeper knowledge than a student had before the seminar.
