Requirements
Approved case work on selected failure case.
Completion parts must belong to the same implementation
Learning Outcomes
After completing the course the student understands the basic failure mechanisms and the main principles and characteristics of each of the mechanisms. The student can analyze the impact of different environments on the initiation- and propagation of the most typical failures. The student is able to carry out basic failure analysis studies, apply basic material research techniques into the failure analysis procedures and produce simple failure analysis reports. The student has a completion to carry out failure analysis and literature surveys independently and the student also understands the economical aspects of failure phenomena.
