Learning Outcomes
After passing the course, the student is able to prepare and give an oral presentation of scientific literature. During the course, selected chapters of the given books and scientific papers are addressed to pairs of students and the pairs present the subjects for the rest of the group. Students learn to evaluate performance of the other students as well as their own. In addition to the improved oral presentation skills, group work and interaction skills of the students are improved in by working in small groups. The student can perform information searches for reference material also beyond the course book. Of these scientific research articles and the book chapter the student can draw conclusions and summarize data to compile an oral presentation. By listening and commenting the presentations of the other students, the student can form an overall picture of the different fields of modern bioengineering.
