When a course is over-subscribed, i.e. there are more sign-ups than places on the course, then we enrol the required number of students according to the number of credit points they have. Students have to be present on the first day of the course to be sure of retaining their place.

Requirements
Regular attendance; active participation in exercises; giving a high quality professional presentation.
Completion parts must belong to the same implementation
Principles and baselines related to teaching and learning
Teaching methods will largely be task-based exercises, group, pair as well as whole class work, involving e.g. simulations and role plays. Students are expected to be as active as possible.
Learning Outcomes
The course aims to activate students' spoken communication skills in professional contexts. Students will develop the language and skills needed for communicating in a variety of professional situations: small-talk and socializing, functioning in meetings, giving a professional presentation, use of the telephone and exchange of information. Students will be given opportunities to communicate spontaneously in pair and group work role-plays and simulations.

Instructions for students on how to achieve the learning outcomes
Continuous assessment based on performance, attendance and level of activity in the class exercises. Performance of the professional presentation and demonstration of oral skills during the course. There is no written test for this course.
