Course Catalog 2013-2014
MOL-42096 Degradation of Polymers, 5 cr |
Additional information
This course is lectured during every other academic year.
Will not be lectured year 2013-2014
Person responsible
Jyrki Vuorinen, Minna Kellomäki
Requirements
In order to complete this course you will have to give a lecture about a given topic, make a set of exercise questions, answer a set of questions given by other students, and collect a mind map of terms during the course.
There will be no final exam. The given grade will be a sum of grading given by the lecturer and other students.
Completion parts must belong to the same implementation
Learning Outcomes
After finishing the course, the student is able to define what various mechanisms induce degradation of polymers and what can be done to prevent, slow down or control these processes. Student is also familiar with methods that can be used to evaluate degradation of polymers and is able to analyze and apply these results in practice.
