1) Four lecture diary essays: two compulsory seminars (philosophy of research and research ethics) and two elective seminars. 2) Approved literature review 3) Approved research scheme. Read the instructions for completing these requirements in POP under "Course implementations" (or "Toteutuskerrat") TRT-90006 2014-01 (> Materials > TRT Instructions).
Completion parts must belong to the same implementation

Learning Outcomes

This course is an introduction to conducting dissertation research and pursuing doctoral studies. After completing the course, doctoral students will know how to prepare research plans and literature reviews. They will be familiar with the steps towards a research career, the process of critical appraisal and the basic concepts of research philosophy and ethics.
