Learning Outcomes
The student is able to design, dimension, implement and test a small scale power electronic circuit or device. The student can design the control system of the device, tune the control system parameters and simulate the operation of a power electronic device. The student is able to write a document of the different phases of the designing process.

Additional information about prerequisites
Successfull passing of the course and understanding of the design process would require to mastering the basic methods to analyze the operation of the switched-mode converter and their dynamic behavior. DEE-33106 and DEE-34106 would provide the necessary information.
