Learning Outcomes
In this course, the student will learn to: - define what are Computational Systems Biology and Processing of physiological signals and images and which subareas they cover. - list basic computational methods used in these disciplines and understand for what purposes they can be used - understand how computational methods can be used to solve problems involving measurement data. - understand how to perform data acquisition for biological data of various origin - independently search for information and available methods to solve practical problems.

Instructions for students on how to achieve the learning outcomes
Pass / fail. To pass the course student needs to attend learning events and complete the learning diary (accept/fail). At least 1 page description per lecture and attendance to 80% of lectures or more are required. The exercises consist of visits to laboratories, research teams, and/or companies involved in research in these areas. Information on these will be provided in advance in the lectures. There will be 4 visits. In the visits, the students will sign a presence list.
