Additional information
The course introduces analysing operational environment, e.g. identifying changes in the operational environment and the effects of these. Concepts and methods of futures research and foresight are exploited in the analyses.
The first implementation of the course is in the academic year 2014-2015.

Learning Outcomes
After passing this course, the student recognises the key drivers of change in the operational environment and is able to analyse the effects of these.

Instructions for students on how to achieve the learning outcomes
The grade is given based on the accomplishments of the the given assignments. Note that there is no final exam in this course. Good knowledge in the course's core content and applying it in the form of good reporting and presenting the results of the given assignments, gives the grade 3. Achieving grades 4 and 5 are possible if the knowledge as well as applying it by reporting and presenting are excellent.
