Learning Outcomes
Students will get acquainted to the technologies of Web-based GIS applications. After completing the course the students are able to set up a Web GIS Server and a related geodatabase solution, to publish geospatial Web services and implement Web applications using these serveices on desktop as well as mobile platforms. Both open source tools and environments as well as commercial solutions (offered by ESRI) will be introduced.
