Tampere School of Public Health (TSPH) advances knowledge through multidisciplinary research and education in public health. Our research projects address a wide range of issues pertaining to health, health promotion and means of preventing diseases as well as various aspects of health care and health policy and their effectiveness.

We provide degree programmes for undergraduate (Bachelor's), graduate (Master's) and postgraduate level education in public health. We also offer scientific and professional continuing education and participate in the training of medical doctors in the Faculty of Medicine. Our multi-disciplinary faculty and staff represent the fields of biostatistics, epidemiology, gerontology, public health, social and health policy, social psychiatry, health economics and occupational health care.
