SOMEJAM2016 Tampere is an intensive weekend event 21st – 23rd 2016 working together with young people, youth workers and with students of various fields of study. The language of the event is English.
The course offers a media educational perspective to the participants in a real youth work at the City of Tampere. The completion of the course requires participation for the whole weekend and a report as an assignment.
How does it work?
Somejam kicks off on Friday at 4 pm and the multi-talent teams have 48 hours to create new concepts in the form of apps, games or web services for youths with the help of team mentors who are top specialists in new technology. On Sunday the jury of technology specialists will announce the winner. The winning team can have the opportunity to pitch their idea to New Factory Demola.
