Learning outcomes
After the course a student is able to:
- identify public health issues which are suitable for project work
- evaluate the need for a project in its operational environment
- plan the aims, the phases and implementation of a project
- plan a rough budget for a project
- map out a communication plan for a project
- plan how to evaluate the impact of a project
- identify possible risks before implementing a project
- produce a written project plan
- manage a small scale project
- evaluate public health projects
