Learning outcomes
After the course student can:
- write simple, practical programs in the Python programming language
- explain basic data structures and select and adapt a suitable data structure for use in a particular problem
- explain how common algorithms are used in bioinformatics work
- adapt and implement simple bioinformatics algorithms in selected cases
